Cotswold Carpentry were formed in 2013 and, being based in Chelteham, take on work all around the Gloucestershire area.
With not many local joinery companies offering carpentry as a service, we saw this as a unique opportunity – as specialists in both disciplines – to combine the two. Cotswold Carpentry & Joinery specialises in making bespoke household items – not simply an item that has come straight off a production line, but is unique to you and your home.
About Ryan Cleevely
Founder of Cotswold Carpentry & Joinery
After leaving school around the turn of the millennium, Ryan was dead-set on where he wanted his career to go. It was then that he signed up to a City & Guilds ‘Carpentry & Joinery’ qualification – which lasted three years and earned him a Level 3 NVQ. During that time, he worked for a building company, but also started his original company, Cleevely Carpentry, which he ran until 2013.
Having focused mainly on carpentry in the earlier part of his career, Ryan then decided to open his own joinery workshop so he could build wooden items from scratch. Over time, he has been investing in the new machinery and tools which have been at the centre of all of his recently-produced work.
It is his passion for both carpentry and joinery which have helped him become established as one of the most trusted tradesmen in the county.
